Anmeldung und Pass uber html Menu(gib die IP Adrese von Netcenter in Explorer).
User name and pasword. Give Netcenter IP adres in explorer. And change over html menu.

Main directory nicht endern. Der Netcenter arbeitet da nach nicht mit Runscript und FTP.

Nie die Partition auf Netcente teilen! Bei geteilte Partition kan man kein Recovery auf Secondary Partition machen!

The configuration file for FTP is /etc/vsftpd.conf.
There is an entry to change the banner! There's no
separate banner file.

May I advise to browse around the file system a bit.
It doesn't hurt to explore your system and open files to satisfy your curiosity.

Dear Kogansam,

You are right about that. /etc lives in a read-only partition
(on flash) I believe. Sorry. I think you will have to learn
to live with the current banner or take the trouble to take your current firmware image apart, change /etc/vsftpd.conf to your liking and then repackage the whole deal and reflash it.
I wrote a little howto in this forum on the structure of the firmware file. Maybe it would be a good idea to make /etc/vsftpd.conf a symbolic link to /opt/etc/vsftpd.conf. That way it becomes easier to change the contents.
